Clinical Philosophy
Dr. Mamie Talty leads the clinical operations at Aceso Pharmacy, bringing over 7 years of specialized experience in Long-Term Care (LTC), sterile compounding, and complex medication therapy management. Her approach to pharmacy goes beyond simple dispensing; she focuses on the “Supply Chain of Care”, ensuring that patients with complex needs (from nursing home residents to home-health patients) receive the exact medication they need, exactly when they need it.
Professional Background
Before joining Aceso, Dr. Talty served as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) at Omnicare, where she managed high-volume pharmacy operations for assisted living facilities. This experience gave her deep expertise in regulatory compliance, geriatric care, and the unique challenges Facility Directors face with medication passes.
She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo. As a Board-Certified Medication Therapy Management Specialist (BCMTMS), Mamie is one of the few pharmacists in the region with advanced certification in optimizing drug regimens for patients with multiple chronic conditions.
